HI All - my hold light has started flashing, initially it would go when a reset and now its on even with just the ignition. I have a Willington split charge but seems to be working.
Any ideas how I can check its not the split charge 100% I have disconnected the positive to the leisure battery only and that didnt solve it.
My mechanic friend has checked the signal from the gearbox sensors, mine has 2 as its a 200 model???
Also does anyone know hoe we can read fault codes from the gearbox? there is no marking on my plug to know whats what?
Any info gratefully received.
Thanks Jim

Re: Flashing Hold
I had a flashing hold light but coupled with an erratic speedo (jumping from 0mph all the way around and back)
Removing the kph to mph chip cured it. Worth checking.

Does your speedo work ok? I wouldn't have thought there would be any connection with the split charge unless it stopped working at the same time.
Gearbox speed sensor location varies depending on engine and gearbox type. This is one example:

Thanks for the replies. Problem solved by my garage. CAE in Wokingham Berks
With a little help from Dunnings (thanks to them) he was able to read the fault code, it came out as a shift solenoid, part ordered and changed and hey prosto she is better than ever!
Chuffed
