Door mirror removal?

Post by stuc » Wed Jan 22, 2014 12:23 pm

Hi Need a quick response as I am working on it now, does anyone know how to get the door mirrors off. I have undone the bolt inside but can't get the exterior black cover off the mirror.

Hi guys, managed to get it off, just very tight clips on the outside cover, which broke on removal, but I've got spares. Once the cover is off there is 2 10mm bolts on the outside, one 10mm on the inside plus the electrical connector.
I'm painting them black if you are wondering why I am removing them.
Cheers

Got to admit Jim, I don't like white will post a picture of the mirrors when they are back on.
I want to colour change the whole van when I get time. I fancy met green or orange with black bits and black roof, but it's such a big job.

Hi
Blue....it has to be a royal blue metallic....it really shows chrome off!....not the Bongo deep blue!
