An alternative location to bring mains power in is from the front bumper with an RCD/ issolator fixed behind the starter battery then to mains sockets in back. Remember all wiring has to be securely fixed for MOT.

There is infinite scope for imaginative layouts. My consumer unit is on the fitment my fridge sits on at the bottom rear of the sliding door. Directly below it I have a surface mounted inlet with a waterproof cap. It is high enough up to cope with most floods, easy to reach and invisible to the casual observer. IIRR it is the Panhard rod bracket that I fixed it to.

Thanks to you guys have now fitted my hook up and all is working O.K.
Just need to work out how to fit a germinate battery charger now.
