How to remove front windscreen washer nozzles on bonnet?

Post by tallbongo » Mon Jul 22, 2013 10:22 pm

Does anybody know how to remove these?

I've tried twisting and pushing them with as much force as I feel comfortable without knowing the correct direction they are meant to move.

Thanks.

Yes just use long nose pliers on the back and pinch the 2 sides in, not sure if its long ways or side to side but you can see easy enough.
Do what you like.Like what you do.

Thanks both. I'll get a torch and pliers out and have a try tonight if it's not too wet.

Thanks again. It's fairly easy when you know what to try! I couldn't find any other posts on this so in case anyone searches how to do this:

1) The points you need to pinch are at the front and back.
2) You definitely need needle nose pliers. The long narrow ones I tried first couldn't do the job.
3) You can leave the tubing on the assembly and just detach at the y-splitter. I was uncomfortable taking the tubing off first, in case I couldn't get the nozzles off to re-attach it.
