My green BONGO Friendee was taken from outside my flat on GREAT WESTERN ROAD GLASGOW last night. Needed fuel, gauge almost on "E", hopefully been abandoned nearby.
If anyone spots my beloved BONGO, N364 RGD, in GLASGOW's west end please call me on 07532157520.
Happy Motoring

Hi

Once again I am dismayed to hear about yet another stolen Bongo, but as I have said before I think the value and increasing rarety of parts is an contributing factor   As models get older, parts become harder to get and more expensive theiving scum sucking benefit scroungers will be on the lookout for donor vehicles just to make a quick buck!

The first thing I did when I got mine was to fit another alarm and mobiliser hopefully making it doubly difficult to steal unless they bring a trailer and push her on to it

Its a long shot buddy but I am in Inverness on a long assignment and although I have seen many Bongo's I will keep a special lookout on my travels. [-o< [-o< [-o<

Does it have any features that make it stand out as they are all much of a muchness? :?: pm me an answer if it does

Good luck

Tough, our sympathies. What's wrong with working for a living? Hang them by their g*****s I say.

2 stolen in Glasgow in a couple of weeks :?

Glad I moved out  (From Partick, where my motorbike was stolen)

I used to live on Gt Western Road, near Anniesland Cross.

I'll keep and eye out.

Good luck.
Freda now gone, :-/ But nice wee Burstner obtained ;-)

ALL GREEN WITH NO DECALS.
I could spot my Bongo from outer space.
Two years ago she was re-sprayed dark green again(the original colour)
As part of the preparation all the decals/transfers were removed.
The elevating cream roof was changed to green.
Looked better than brand new with no garish transfers.
