Fuel Gauge/Tank Question/Issue

Post by mwrighty » Sun Aug 19, 2012 8:51 am

Hello everybody.

I am a new Bongo owner and would appreciate a bit of advice. I have read about faulty fuel gauges on here and the other bongo forum. My scenario is as follows :-

Fill bongo up with diesel :

Fuel gauge shows 3/4 full. It never reaches the full marker. Drive until fuel gauge shows empty. Then re-fill tank, it only takes 29.5 litres (290km-ish) and I believe our bongo's have a 65 litre tank. Unless someone has replaced my tank with a 30 litre tank!!!

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for you time and knowledge.
