Hi has anyone had the same difficulty i had with getting my D.O.E sorted out .I was told after finding out from ian the axle weights of my van that i wouldnt be getting my cert because i had no id plate on the van showing vin numbers etc.I then rang the R.S.A. in galway who told me contact this site to get the relevant id requirements. The second website they told me to contact was 321 away.com,which i did and am waiting on an answer. Im wondering has anyone else gone through this buisness .would be glad to get it sorted once and for all.thanks am

I'm getting a steady trickle of queries about this. All I can do is point people at the information at http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... 46&t=54586

Hiya, I brought my van to coolock commercials for test. I had to rectify two things - location of chassis numbe -- chassis number is on the drivers side under bonnet- follow down from where wiper blades are, then 2 screws and just under that you will find chassis number - that was a problem we had but got sorted. We also needed a bumpstop which we also sorced. Went to tax office to finalize nct/doe but they needed official weight so I went to roadstone in feltrim to get it weighed on their weigh bridge (€25 ouch) - went back to tax office with cert from garage and weight docket and finally received my cert (€6) valid for one year.... Sorted ;-)
