Hi everyone!
Can anyone recommend a good garage based in or near Southampton to do a LPG conversion.
Also, has anyone converted their 2L petrol to LPG and does it run ok?
Many thanks,
Helen

Re: Advice on LPG converters near Southampton
I had my V6 converted in January by AJC Classics in Hythe using a Prins system. Not the cheapest, but they know what they are doing . They also check all the ignition electrics before converting to make sure it is trouble free. I had a £1,800 total bill but that was more than the basic system.
They do the conversions for Budget Bongos so have plenty of experience in their quirks. My Bongo has run perfectly from day 1. Apart from the four lights on the switch and the lower bils its almost to tell it is on LPG.
Another recommended converter is Paul from LPG Imports in Coventry. I considered him, but decided on AJC just on the distance factor.

There is another recent thread on this topic, with a lot more options.
Tried to post a link, but this just did not work.

The 4 cylinder kit for 2 litre will be cheaper than the V6 which generally uses a V8 kit, minus 2 of the injectors. I'm also looking at using AJC as they seem to have a good reputation in the area.
