I've looked through the FAQ's regarding this topic and al seem to work on the basis that a previous fog light has been fitted.
My bongo has no evidence of a previous rear fog light ever being fitted. So no wires.
I have the light (one that fits into the bumper and a fog light switch). My question is how do I wire it in!! Is it easy or do I need to take it to a garage?

Re: Rear fog lights again!!
This will only work when the side lights are on, it wouldn't have passed a MOT without it working
Bongo no more........... ;-(
Re: Rear fog lights again!!
You need to take a feed from the sidelight circuit to the switch, put an inline fuse in there as well just to be sure.
You will then need an earth from the switch (as the switch should be illuminated when the fog light is on). Switches vary but should have three terminals.
Wire from the switch back to the foglight terminal, and earth the foglight body back to the chassis/body.
If possible solder the connections rather than just crimp them especially at the foglight end.
make sure all the wiring is secured using nylocks straps to prevent it rubbing and wearing through.

Some convertors such as Imperial replace the offside reversing light with a red bulb & then fit a round toggle switch fitted into the dashboard in the vicinity of the fuse box lid. It is a legal requirement to have a rear fog light, so it wouldn't (shouldn't) have passed an MOT without one.

A rear fog lamp is permitted to operate independently of headlamp, position lamp or ignition systems.
You only need a tell tale switch within the drivers reach and view.Hope this makes it easier for you.
Cheers.
