Adrian At Japan Direct in Bury has advised me they can be got (albeit they may have to come from Japan). Not cheap though (something stupid like £150 a pop - ouch!). There's a cottage industry opportunity for someone interested in reconditioning old ones methinks. 8)

Adrian has done plenty of roofs though so he's be a good person to try if you are local, or else he's very good about advising other garages where needed. 8)

Harri127,i will PM how i got our roof up manually and i got our motors from Bell hill garage in Bath TEL #01373 834252.
the voices made me do it!

hi managed to get roof up today large plug on box at rear of van connected a battery to the 2 lower terminals on large 4 pin plug and joy it went up reverse leads and went down every thing working fine now ---have two spare motors not used :D

Bloody typical! If its any consolation, I've thought about getting two new motors as spares just in case!
