often been there kite flying.
site facilities big improvement from what they used to be. Used to be a hosepipe for a shower. quite a windy open site on a hill in most pitches unless right at top pitched near hedge. cafe onsite serves very nice food.
if your going on the beach take care, quicksand areas on there so watch out. it was last year near to the landrover stuck on there but the areas can change yearly due to the different currents.

Yes stopped there on the way from The Lakes to North Wales at Easter.

We really just overnighted in the Motorhome (not the Bongo) and a had a job finding anywhere near level for the fridge to work properly as it's a very sloping site. It didn't appear to have many hook-up either. Seem to remember the showers etc. were quite good.

Steve,I looked across the bay with my binoculars on Thursday,could see a lime green AFT tent/roof over the treeline on the righthand field,near the bottom
Was going to pop across on friday afternoon to say hello,but you`d gone :shock:

Hi, Yes it was me,we were there till friday dinner good facilities/ scenery.
on one of the hook ups to much of a slope plus a big hollow
couldnt get level a pity really. need site round bardsea or newby
