Started hearing a noise under the side door step when driving at 50mph. Had a look underneath and found that somebody has hooked the gearbox breather pipe over another pipe just under there. There are come clips on the pipe that look like they should be pressed into holes in the bodywork or some brackets but i can't see where they are. From reading another thread I gather this pipe should be running forward from where it originates on top of the box to the drivers side somewhere. Can anyone shed any light on it?
Thanks
Tony

I found my breather hanging down when I changed the ATF recently. IIRC, it should attach to the bodywork somewhere near the gearbox dipstick tube. I tywrapped it to something in that area.

it should be sort of stuck by the back of the rocker cover somewhere with the pipe end facing down

I have have position it through a clip on the air intake bracket at the back of the cylinder head.
