Advice needed please.

Thinking of buying a 2.5 mt Fiamma 35 awning and VW T3 fixing brackets for my Tintop will this fit ok? Any advice welcomed and appeciated. Thanks Geoff.

I used those fixings on my Fimma and to be honest they tend to vibrate a LOT when on slow tickover and when switching off the engine.....I was afraid the gutter would suffer.....so !! as mine was a ATF at the time I put extra brackets from the "under AFT" awning mounting brackets......I now have a tintop and knowing what I now do I would go for a really lightweight caravanstore or somthing along those lines.

Just had a good look at the 35....it does seem a bit lighter than the one I had so you may get away with it......

Thanks Haydn. Think the 35 is 9kg and the 45 is 18kg...

The trick Geoff, is to bend and manipulate the brackets so that they sit square and parallel to each other, but also so they have a bit of tension against the side of the van.
If your passing, pop in and I will show you what I mean - if you call over on a saturday(not this saturday though) we may even help you do it :wink: .
