Fab meet ... thanks for organising it Dobby Great to see old and new faces
Oooh.. we deny all knowledge of the beer cans and bottles under the firepit... don't know how they got there, but do know I woke up with a corker of a headache

After camping in Ludlow we got to Takaroo after a short detour to pick up some bling wheels from the king. A few more pictures to add. We had a fab time all be it I woke with a thumping headache due to sinusitis.. can't blame the beer now can I
Loopy lou and family... good luck with the trip Chris, we'll all miss you snoring around the fire
The birthday girl... the cake looked fab... Alison can you make my daughter one in May
The washing basket is finally closed after several people attempted it.. took soft southerners to do it tho
Must keep the kings bling wheels clean Debs
Clearly something Debs said set Mair into a fit of the giggles
Andrew... the munkey isn't that scary
Recovering from the night before
An attempt to dry the jeans out I think steam is hot you know
UmbongoChris will wear the binkini if Debs gets her way.
Oh no! He's conducting his ablutions once again in public in the open air!
Really boys did you really need to call each other to make sure you were wearing the same things
Mair really really needs a poncho like that, both Chell and I agree it looks get her one Andrew, instead of the moon chairs?
A little snooze by the fire to regain energy for the night ahead
the marchioness disappears when we first get there

What a brilliant looking meet (and pics). Anyone remember when the Midlands section seemed dead as dodo and it never seemed possible to get anyone to go a meet-up? Seems a long ago since Dobby fixed that one
And yes, as a closet Stoke fan (though not an official supporter - but I worked there for 3 years) I was chuffed to bits for them pulling off that 5-0 victory to make their first ever finals. The townsfolk thoroughly deserve their big moment
PS - I'm a dead man in Manchester now
PPS - Big thanks to the Muz's and the Bulwell's for ferrying that spare tyre and cash to Andy, who is letting me have his scuttle plate (which I get confused with cuttle fish for some reason), to slap on my Bongo and protect its inwards from the inevitable pheasant strike to which many Bongos eventually succumb

Seriously, can you put a back box on a bike rack like yours.. if so is it the white square ones or more like the grey box ones?
This is the kind we currently have
http://www.roofbox.co.uk/allprods/Thule ... no_900.php
But thinking we would prefer something like this rather than having it sitting on the tow bar

Re: Tackeroo 3 - Sunday 17th April 2011
I think the official one for the bike rack is this one http://www.roofracks.co.uk/thule/roofbo ... up-973.php
but I reckon the one you already have should fit? might need to email Thule and ask
doh..just realised it is the same one
I like the fiamma one too tho.

My involvement in Tackeroo has been embellished, through the passage of time.
The true birth of this event had the following family tree:
YBB said to me via a PM - "what about arranging a meet", a suggestion was made to use the Visitor Centre on the Chase, Rachel Taylor suggested Tackeroo and Anna (not so old) provided the push and advice to get it going - arriving early with - DOUGHNUTS. And Muz became the MC Campfire Meister and the East Mids Crew made it so - apologies for missing everyone else off!
Also, being a total slacker and having NEVER attended anything remotely Bongo for the 3 years we owned the Bongo in London it is entirely apt and in character that the only meet we go to is 8 miles from my house
