ECU ( a couple of days ago i started it and it was really, really lumpy so turned it off, waited a few secs and it started fine)

Immobiliser - i have one of those god awful sterling ones that you need the transmitter on the keyring to start it. Only problem is the immobiliser prevents you from even turning it over so i don't think its that.
