Post by mr and mrs pips » Sat Apr 10, 2010 8:18 pm

Hi

I said I would give anyone interested a heads up this year.

The Family went in 2009, was a good day out and FREE Extream Sports with Chips and a 99 ice cream

http://www.lifestylesfestival.co.uk/

If the weathers fine and preferably windy we will go again.

Heres a few pics from 2009

No wind Unfortunatly

I'm tempted, will have to make sure that my shifts don't change. I was there last year, you tried the battered mars bars at the chippie up the top, yum. :D

The battered mars etc, are served at the one at the top of the hill just above the joke shop and next to the sweet shop that sells the multiple selection of millions.

 A worm with a sweet tooth,

I wonder if they'll start doing battered worms,

Sorry I can't join you here. I go to Hunstanton at least twice a year as it is a lovely old-fashioned and friendly place. This time I will be at Ely Folk Festival :-)

Are you kipping in it on the road and what time will you be there?

If I can I will be kipping on the road with another van. Leaving Halstead about 1900hrs so should be there about 2100-2130hrs.

If we can't bed down there we'll use the byway further up the road, its nice and quite, although not in walking distance.

Will we see you there?

Hi

unsure about the staying overnight on the grass bank, however im sure you will find somewhere quiet around there.

We will be there Saturday Crack of Dawn. so we can park, get busy quite quickly.

looks like a hot and cloudy afternoon with some wind.

A Quick After Event Summery.

Exceptionally HOT force 3/4 dropping to Force 1

Met up with John, Darren, and Chris with Family Plus another owner who had only had his van for 2 weeks and was loving it......

Lots of kite boarding and BMX jumping, several bands in Two event tents, missed the Free Running to hot and needed a Kip. Chips and Ice creams all round. a little bit of of £1.00 seaside shopping, finally left 22:00 ish seemed just like the Med.

I had a great weekend, Set out on the friday evening, camped out on the sea front at Hunstanton all weekend. There were plenty of water taps, easy walking distance to the shows and town.

Thanks to John and Mr and Mrs pips for a great time. :D
