Suggestion for lost child identification

Having a 3 and 5 year old I think this is a really good idea. Are we talking about the festival type wristband that you can't/daren't/won't take off, or the rubber 'I've bought 'cos I support a certain charity' wristband?
Personally, I think the festival type band would be best as it would be less probable to come off.
If anyone has been to Shell Island in North Wales they have a similar system to distinguish between campers and day visitors.
I'm sure a job lot could be bought and sold on via the club - probably in an illuminous colour with the Bongo Fury logo/name on with room to write on both a reg no. and mobile contact name/number. Worth looking into by someone maybe?

This is a really good idea. Aitch and Mrs B will tell you what fun we had last year reuniting a 'Runner' with his parents.

Little one wasn't bothered at all, but his parents were a bit pleased to have him back.

Something I've seen work very well at festies is for the kid to have the number written on their arm but also to wear a high vis jacket also with the number on - it makes it easier for parents to see kids etc

I've noticed that a lot of nurseries and pre-schools use hi vis vests too, presumably so they know which ones are theirs!!!

I make mine wear his hi vis vest sometimes so that I can spot him without binoculars, but as he is very free range I haven't put the number on as I'd keep getting phone calls when he wasn't lost!! He's brought well meaning people back to me before now to prove to them that he hasn't lost his Mummy Work that out!

I welcome the wrist band idea but he'll also have his laminated "business card" and a walkie talkie if he doesn't manage to lose it. Keep wondering whether I should pack a life jacket too, but he says he's not stupid. Famous last words
