Veg/alternative oil for a diesel Bongo

Several members do run their diesel Bongos on vegetable/alternative oils and some have done this for several years. Experience varies - for example, some have had to change the filters more often than others. Some have had to change fuel pump seals. The many discussions have been gathered below, and there're plenty more on the forum itself.

Note: Don't try this with a petrol engine Bongo.
