Good thinking, IMHO. As above, you can trust Ian Taylor (Market Drayton, Shropshire), or if you fancy a holiday in the south west, Allans in Plymouth is apparently a whizz with them - good time to go down that way is end of May, and continue on into Cornwall. Give or take a day or two, the basking sharks return, off Sennen Cove for example, on 28 May each year, and there are trips out to see them.Grahame at work wrote:So as I was planning on getting mine done in the spring - does anyone know of a garage that HAS done a V6 cam belt change?

Following on from the recent postings in this thread - I'd probably be prepared to travel a LOOONNNNNNGGGGG way to a garage that I felt OK with.

Re: v6 cambelt change
Thanks for the suggestions
Although we would like to do Cornwall it is not on our plans for next year.
However, we go to Shrewsbury several times a year and I know Ian Taylor as we got our first Bongo from him - and yes I trust him.
So it looks as though I may arrange something with him for early next year.
