best gearbox oil to use?

Post by gingerneil » Mon Jul 27, 2009 11:47 pm

Hello, what oil should i use in my automatic gearbox? also the "hold" button- is this for holding the bongo in the same gear? I'm planning on driving from England to as far round the world as i can make it (maybe Iran or Iraq?) I leave in 2 days, anyone have any tips on how I can help my bongo last the journey? Thanks Neil

Yes mate, the hold button holds onto whatever gear it's in when the button is pressed...I use it as a jake brake too, quite effective for long mid-speed descents

Castrol TQ D3 ATF is the oil i used when i replaced the lot earlier this year.

You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
