If water is pressurising, it sounds like the dreaded cylinder head gasket
Is there steam coming from the exhaust?

thanks for ur reply and yes there is steam mixed with white smoke coming from the exhaust, do you think that the head gasket could be the problem for the execessive revving aswell? basically when the engine is warm the vehicle revs on its own, cheers

Can't see why it would cause revving, but it could account for the knocking.rod-paul wrote:thanks for ur reply and yes there is steam mixed with white smoke coming from the exhaust, do you think that the head gasket could be the problem for the execessive revving aswell? basically when the engine is warm the vehicle revs on its own, cheers
