Hi,
Just came across My faulty Alternator while clearing the shed. Just wondering if its worth keeping or should I skip it. Do they repair them at electrical shops?
Thanks,
Mike.

Whats wrong with it?
Re: Old Alternator.
Shame you're so far away as the place that rebuilt my washing machine motor for £40 said they'd look at one to see if it was something they could do up.
They are a small one man & his dog operation who can turn their hand to almost anything electrical.
If they could get one to start with and are able to get the bits needed, they could then offer an exchange service.
Anybody able to offer any relay help?

Thanks everyone. I don't want to throw it if I can get it reconned. I have no idea whats wrong with it but I had to replace it about 6 months ago when the lights came on on the console. I bought a second hand one, so I don't know how old that one is, and new one's cost a bomb!
