Re: november
Forbidden Corner is on the back burner until the spring 'cos they close over the wintertime. However I plan on sorting a spectacular weekend around April. Pencil it in for then.
Regarding November, I'm rather hoping Mr onb4c has not wasted his time at home being poorly & has organised the Manchester Bongo Concorde Expo.

Re: november
chester zoo is a good idea but we wanted somewhere nearer home,as forbidden corner is closed for winter might just have to be the zoo,see what other folk think of it,
a day visit to chester zoo anyone, since it has inside places to go as well as outside,i will put it up on fancy meeting up and people can tell me when and what they think.

Re: november
Got this vague plan for a day meet somewhere north of Manchester but near enough for all the NW and Yorkshire crews to attend.
Theme: Bongo boot sale.......bongo bits, camping gear etc, etc plus any 'craft' items that members produce...knitting - cakes - home grown... etc.
Could be good for late November as an opportunity for buying Xmas presents for the van?
But we need a big car park where they don't mind us buying & selling. A pub car park on a Sunday might be the thing???
Anyone got any ideas/opinions.

Harry you must of been reading my mind .
We went to a Boat jumble in holmes chapel a couple of weeks ago and i thought what a good idea to do a bongo jumble sale .
Must in the air.
This could be a good anual event. bring and buy sale

Re: november
Could we not do our November daymeet/Bongojumble at Wheelquick on a Sunday?
There seems to be a decent size car park across the road. . . .
Could be a cracker!?

Re: november
Its a good idea but Wheelquick dont own that car park opposite so we could get into a pickle a selling meet. Much as I love the place we must be able to think of somewhere with nicer loos
