It's the ingenuity of building such things on hilltops 800 years ago, that's nearly as old as my mother-in-law

Only the advent of gunpowder saw their demise. Sometimes I look at one like Caerphilly with twin moats and think "How the flip did they do that all those years ago?"

A bit like the pyramids, I suppose, but they had aliens to help

great looking trip that we did Lindisfarne a couple of years ago and loved the peacefulness of the island once all the daytrippers had left - must go back again.

Also great photos will look forward to the next instalment.
Be nice to everyone they might be nice back.

Come to the dark side we have chocolate dark chocolate

Only just peeped in on this thread Muz. Absolutely stunning pics and stunning scenery. Must get my disorganised butt up there. The heather looks the best I've ever seen. Well done Team Muz. =D>

Expect you heard about the Scotsman who preferred to lay on peat than heather. No? Tell you about it later then

I have a suggestion Muz..

Please could you set up a tour company Mystery Tours by Muz. Just tell how long, how much dosh and where to turn up...

Ady and I would love to join such an organised trolling around anywhere. Thank you for the inspiration you provide with your Jollies... Credit to you and Mrs Muz....

WELL DONE =D>

Amazed as usual... How the heck do they do all that...

p.s as the mileage on Bongo reached the moon and back yet...hehehehe

Hmmm, I can just see the advertising slogans - Magical Muztery Tours, roll up, roll up :D

I think our weather is unreliable enough to scupper any advanced arrangement, that's the beauty of the Bongo, when the time is right just go. We have a few tours in planning, just waiting for the right conditions

Hi Muz
Some lovely pictures there....In the first batch there was a man wearing rubber trousers , standing in the water smacking fish with a stick.....not your hobby, by any chance?
Again....nice piccies
Cheers
Helen
In the beginning there was nothing , then God said "Let there be Light".....There was still nothing , but ,by crikey, you could see it better.

Certainly not, my idea of fishing is going to Sainsbury's and seeing them all nicely dead and ready to cook
