I was there and missed it too - looks great - is there a choice of colours? and how easy to fit and remove? Reason I ask is that I could have one printed up with our logo when the bongo is being used for work....

Deal me in too CC.

Fed up with getting rid of sycamore tree sap from the bonnet every two days.

This looks like a funky protector. 8)

When are you likely to get some together?

Very popular in Canada, never seen one in Blighty though. Useful bit of kit.

Looks Ab Fab but what does it actually do. I've got no stone chips on my 13yr old bonnet. Is there any danger that grit and stuff might get between the bonnet and the bra and end up abrading paintwork (I've just made this mistake with two stick on pieces for my rear door pillars - they were designed as removeable but on removing them grit had got in and scratched the paintwork a bit.

But a lovely looking thing - really suits the Bongo 8)

I have owned a bongo for a year now and found that after a few long journeys that i had a couple of chips on the bonnet.
hence the bra was born...
I also own a classic split VW and I have had one on that for years.I also produce the vunda-bra for a friends company
check out www.volksheaven.co.uk
We have been making them for years with no problems on original paint and on some serious restoration projects.

The bra is designed to be used as follows.
1 Keep you paint work clean
2 Keep it polished with a good quality polish i.e. meguiars gold class (not plugging, but the best there is).
3 Ensure when the bra is fitted that no dirt is on rear of it or on the paint work.
4 Only use as required. I don't recommend leaving on for more than a 7 day period
without removal and letting air for a day.
These are not the solve all product for your van but they really do help protect your bonnet.

Hope this has answered some questions for people who don't know what there all about.

Thanks customcloth. Would the best thing be to offer it on review to one or two members, or maybe the Bongomeister himself if he's not got enough on his plate already? It's a great looking thing, but it'd be a tragedy if someone thought they could wear it as bling then found they'd stuffed their paintwork.

Any idea on price yet, for those with an interest?
