Hi guys,
Just made up a fused 40AMP supply to an 8 way fusebox. Planning to use this to then patch into the main fuse box (as per another post) to supply circuits from the leisure battery.
Looking at the fuses tech sheet I was wondering what else to move over, other than the curtains left and right.
One fuse says interior, is that just the internal lights or does more come off that?
Also is it worth moving the lift roof circuit as I tend to close the roof tent before we go out for the day?
Any advise would be gratefully received.

Usual candidates are (I think) blinds, ciggie sockets, interior lights, radio. I wouldn't include the roof open/close as its high current drain, not suited to LB and will waste a lot of power. General view is it should run off starter battery and engine should be running when opening the roof as the roof seems to struggle a bit off battery alone. Closing is OK with engine off.
Must do mine someday but haven't actually found a good enough reason to bother so far! I've fitted aux. ciggie sockets anyway, don't want blinds inactive should I flatten LB, and am happy to put key in Aux position (except for the damn bleeper which I must unplug) for radio and blinds.

Thanks for the advise. I wasn't sure about the roof for that very reason, I always run the engine when I put that up.
Although I'd like to safely spread the load a bit between the batteries, I am keen to get this done as I'm off the Glastonbury soon so that will be a few days and I don't want the engine battery to get too low. We find that the blinds are a bit of a pest in so much that you have to lean through regularly to turn the key !!
Also with my conversion it would appear that the Zig unit is only connected to the leisure battery so that is another reason to move the stuff we use most over. I can always revert back easily if I want to I guess.
Got to change the spotlight bulbs for low energy ones too, they get very hot so must be pulling some power.

Spent this arvo rewiring things to the leisure battery. Bought a kit on fleabay, basically a 40amp fused supply to an 8 way fusebox.
Had a bit of an issue as the fuses on the bongo are micro ones, and I didn't have much luck cutting a standard spade connector in half, didn't fit very well. In the end I bought some more micro fuses and took them apart, soldered the supply wire to each leg. Worked well but it took longer than I was hoping, at least it's neat and reversible. Ended up moving the blinds and the interior over.
Done some testing and the interior circuit is using 0.01 amps when all is off, is this something to be concerned about? Suspect it's the radio.
I've also wired my voltmeter via a small on off on switch so I can see the voltage on either battery, engine when ignition is on and the leisure at any time. With the voltage, at what point (voltage) should I be thinking about charging the batteries?
