Got one & it works sucking up water into a 5 litre container, the pump bit sits in a conical rubber collar thing that sits in the neck of the vessel being used, creating a vacuum as you pump. There were only about 10 in Weymouth & I was the 2nd person there as the door opened.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
Blimey, Kirsty - you were lucky - the one I got there today will only will hold 1 1/2 litres.missfixit70 wrote:Got one & it works sucking up water into a 5 litre container, the pump bit sits in a conical rubber collar thing that sits in the neck of the vessel being used, creating a vacuum as you pump. I had the same thoughts as you Yammy when I looked at the last on in Edinburgh's branch and dismised it as being too small but missfixit's smarter than most
- it'll fit any sized container with a neck size up about 30mm. I read her post and immediately rushed back - it was still there
