managed to pick up some footrests that go behind the front seats off ebay pretty cheap. any tips on fitting them before i have a go at it?
.......... cycling more.

Just two bolts on each thats all, can't say much else.Image

I removed ours, to make more leg room. ( sorry CrAzY :lol: )
They did go to a good home though.

They're easy to fit if there are already holes with captive nuts under the carpet. If there are, cut holes in the carpet above them, and fix 2 retaining bolts through the bar of the footrests, into the captive nuts.

Get what? A fairground face-painted, American speaking Aussie with a naff Scottish accent? Have you seen the statue outside the visitor centre near the Wallace memorial at Sterling? How embarrassing. I'm only a half scot but it made me cringe ...... :roll:
