As forecasted, the weather for our North Devon meet was great, as was the bunch of fellow bongonuts who attended this, our second North Devon mini bash. Friday was the pick of the hot days which in turn turned into a very cold night, so much so that a few of our number travelled to Barnstaple and bought electric blankets for the next night which turned out to be very mild.
Most of our number formed a large circle with their chairs late Saturday afternoon for a chin wag and consumption of alcoholic beverages before all wondering down to the camps bar. We were entertained by the worst comic/singer to walk this planet. He really did bomb badly. However, the more alcohol that was consumed the funnier he became. So much so, that three lady members of our party took it upon themselves to join him on stage for the finale. It turned out to be a very enjoyable evening, as was the week end. Thank you to those that made the effort to make this a truly unforgetable week end.

Hi Dave, and roseanne
Glad you all had a good time, and great weather as well. Good to know these campsites are still dealing with the QUALITY?!! entertainment

Mother in law had a stroke last week, so that would have put a different spin on things if we had booked up!!.

Cheers for now
