Once again, thanks for all the replies.
The leisure battery was new in April (as was the conversion) and we've been away in the van for a total of 14 nights (3 full weekends) without hook up and this was the 2nd time that we've lost power (other was on the 3rd night).
I generally switch the fridge off at night to save power.
The CD player is never used (and the front taken off) when parked up as we use an MP3 player and portable speakers.
The previous 2 weekends on the drive home the fridge has iced which is exactly what it does when 1st switched.
Starting to sound like a duff battery to me.
Taking it away for a week next week but using hook up so will do some testing when I get back by leaving the fridge on for a few days an checking blinds and voltage etc.

The leisure batteries on my boat are nearly 3 times the capacity (ah) of the starter battery and I've not had any problems in at least 6 years of use. Other boaters I know have even more battery capacity than me as they use a lot of equipment onboard. They still only need the starting battery to be suitable for starting the engine.francophile1947 wrote:Nobody seems to know where that info came from - lots use leisure batteries higher than the starter battery.
Clummzie, have you tried putting an ammeter in leisure battery circuit with the fridge and CD player switched off? There could be something you are unaware of draining power.
