There was a 'Fact Sheet' in the Member's area, not sure if it's still there.

I'm sure Simon Jones did it so worth a PM if you can't find it, but they are a fairly straight forward fit.

I have a copy of the installation instructions that Simon emailed me in the mists of time. If you PM your email address I will forward it on.

It really helps with getting the sensitivity things right first time.

And from memory you need to connect to a blue/white behind the speedo.

That's a good memory Bob, all the way back to 2014 . My dilemma with two blue/white wires coming of the instrumentation connectors. And for our current readers .... its the one off the wider (middle) connector. It should trace back to SP+ on the circuit board.

Little deviation - reading my post back then referencing "the gubbins mounted on the chassis under the passenger seat" is a little embarrassing. It really demonstrates the patience shown by those far more experienced when helping the inexperienced with stuff that would have seemed so obvious. This is a real strength of this forum.

My 'Gubbins' is under the driver's seat, the cable to the throttle went in a nice wide 180 degree curve to the mounting point.

I used an existing bolt which holds the carpet clip thingy.

The "gubbins" I had queried turned out to be the quick warm up exhaust valve control system but I hadn't a scooby. All I knew was it was using the vacuum take-off that the fact sheet points to.

Thanks to cmm903 for the pdf .All ordered from Conrad for the princely sum £131.98 inc postage.Arriving Monday and then all things being equal I'll fit it Tuesday.
Only thing I'm dithering about is where to mount the controller.......

I put the buttons down by my left knee.

Others have fitted them near the gear selector but you need to unplug before removing the trim to raise the seats.

You may well remember but it's bound to go to a garage sometime.

Well all fitted and working straight out the box.Many thanks to all who supplied the know how PDF etc.
Briefly it took 4hrs start to finish but that included messing about making an insert for the dash and I didn't use any scotchloks (can't stand the things) also made up a small loom for the brake light switch as I felt the OE wires were too short to tap into.
The controller I mounted where the heated rear window switch was and have moved that down to one of the blanks below,all falls naturally to hand.

sorry for the delayed message.

Mine is all fitted and working swimmingly, thanks to the great guide. I have passed the control so it feeds out between the ashtray and gearstick. Looks great and very handy position to control the speed in traffic without taking my arm off the rest. Again, sorry for the delayed response. I very much appreciate all the help I received here and will hopefully become a more regular visitor and poster. I think I will be fitting one to my brothers van in the next couple of months and I’m sure the instructions will again come in handy.
