I missed this thread first time through but reading it start to finish has reminded me again what a great forum and owners club this is.

Our Bongo's role has now changed from what was intended when we bought it and arguably we could find a more suitable vehicle for what we need but I would still want to so my own work on the vehicle and without this wealth of knowledge I don't think I could! This forum allows me to tackle jobs I have never done before or had no knowledge of. I don't profess to be the professional, I just follow instructions (backed up with generic YouTube videos.

Yes Bongos are scary with their funny cooling systems etc but combined with the owners club they are unique.
Vivaro named Stewart however ex '96 4wd 2.5TD owner.

I'm the same. It feels like my baby now as I get to know every part of it. It has changed from being initially a campervan to a hobby where I am now reading up on diesel pumps which was never part of the plan haha.

The help on the forum gives me confidence and feels like I'm taking part in an online course on bongos to some extent :)
