Re-Trim Complete (Nearly) & Tron Dials.....

We've been re-trimming the interior of the Bongotron as the original material was really tired & faded.
We have re-upholstered the
seats, centre console & door cards (still need to comlete the rearmost door cards, but that's a kitchen out job so will wait until the winter.
Really pleased with the results, although in the pictures some of the material looks baggy, I can assure you it's not, the weave of the material plays havoc with the camera.
Also got round to fitting the Tron dial faces...

Fab job. Bongo carpets are dull doncha think (hint hint!). Not sure what's to be done though I think some have dyed them black in situ. Be interesting to get their views on how effective that was.

Great job all round. Where did you get the underseat storage box from?

You've done a cracking job there Mark. Totally transformed the look. I've been contemplating a set of the dials and was wondering if you have to remove the needles first?

Nope. They fit over the needles.

After my recent experiences, it's best not to remove the needles

Thanks both. Tony, it was your thread that made me nervous so good to know I don't have to remove them.

We did the carpet side of the footrests too last night so the "dickie seat" side matches the seat centers.

Need to decide what to do with the headlining now.

Here you go. Proof of the footrests/dickie
seats.
We kept the vinyl as it's easy clean for when the children put their feet on it.

Hmmmm, you're gonna have to get those carpets fit to be seen with the rest
But seriously, Helen was one of those who dyed hers and may have a view on how effective it might/might not be.
