Can I fit the front seats from other models

Does any body know if other Mazda drivers and passenger seats can be fitted. My drivers seat is damaged and re upholstery seems expensive as I would have to do both to match. Bongo seats are harder to get as I am on the Isle of Wight, so I was thinking if other seats from an MX5 or other models would fit as these are more common.
