Weather Watch

Post by Ian » Mon Jun 17, 2019 8:35 am

It will rain overnight Tuesday in to Wednesday but will ease off by the morning in time for the early arrivals at lunchtime. The rest of the day will be overcast and there may be drizzle and showers later on with temperatures around 16 or 17.

Thursday will see similar temperatures and although generally dry there may be some light rain early afternoon. The wind, while not strong, will move from NW to SW.

Friday and Saturday will see sunny intervals and a high of 19/20 degrees. Sunday will be cloudy with rain moving in to the area in the evening.

Cheers Ian. Had hoped to arrive Tuesday but commitments may mean Wednesday . Hopefully the ground will have improved a bit from last week. :-)

River level reducing, but do keep children safe from it:

I suspect the volunteers who are there now will be thinking thirsty thoughts.

Ground conditions fine at the moment but it's raining heavily at the moment and more rain expected overnight. There may be puddles and standing water by the morning but nothing too serious. Severn came very close to swamping the rally field on Sunday but now receding although it's flowing very fast. All set up and ready to go. And no chance of parking by nursing home as there is a large caravan for sale in that slot. I don't do Facebook much but you are quite welcome to give weather updates on the various groups. In brief: meeting goes ahead but it might be damp although weekend looks good. Sun tan lotion and skimpy outfits not required.

Hoping to bring some (more?) sunshine with me on my day trip Saturday. And maybe some bongo-burgers for the barbie.
