Saturday Walk

Post by Ian » Mon Feb 12, 2018 11:36 am

On Saturday there will be a walk to "Undiscovered Stourport". In total this will be 7 kilometers (about 2.5 hours) and will depart from the campsite at 11am. The walk is self-guided and takes you to the Canal Basin, Hartlebury Common, a disused railway line, the historic Rock Inn for lunch, and back along the canal and River Severn to Lickhill Manor.

I'd love to say I'll be fit enough for this but ------- 7 miles!

I'd probably drop behind at the first pub!

Sorry, that should be 7 kilometres. About 2.5 hours. I have amended the original.

I'll supply you a little 'West Country Pain Reliever' before you start, Jilly.

We often call it cider round here.

Hello, I am new to the club and have only recently purchased my first Bongo.
Myself and my hubby are hopefully going to come along for the weekend, and the walk sounds lovely. :D

For those wanting a shorter more zigzaggy kind of walk, Bob is offering to guide serious students on a 'Bens Tour of Discovered Dives.' Participants are encouraged to bring their own pewter pots
