Bongo Bash - couple of day visitors who want to buy a Bongo!

Post by anneakagwen » Tue Jun 23, 2015 4:03 pm

Hi, we are new to the forum and stumbled across your website last week, we saw the Bongo Bash is coming up and will be coming along as day visitors.
We are desperately on the hunt for a converted Bongo - no luck so far.

What will we have access to on the Saturday at the show as day visitors?
Hoping to be inspired by some converted Bongo's and meet some people who could advise us and generally get in the spirit of the Bongo.

I know the evening entertainment is just for over night people.

Looking forward to it very much :-)

Just a very friendly point .. to my knowledge one person (to many) in the last four years of me being on the Forum as said "I went and nobody spoke to me" ..

Remember ... conversation is a two way thing .. be prepared to approach very approachable people and ask for information / advise ..!!

Yes do please come and talk! It's very easy for people to just come and look and pass by then wonder off, there isn't a show as such just a lot of Bongo owners camping and chatting to friends so do come and actually say hello or can we look at your conversion after that you might have a problem getting away!

Thanks for the tips, we have no issues asking questions and are very keen to look at peoples Bongo's to get some ideas and advice.
Just so long as they like a friendly dog who will be with us!
The more info we can get the better :)

Don't get swayed or into arguments with the choices of engines ..

Some swear by (and some at diesels) .. some like the 2.0 four cylinder petrol .. some the stunningly superior .. best out of all the others .. the 2.5 V6 ... or the megga merits of LPG ................................

Erm .. I am not saying what mine is ..!!

Find the "official" tents near the entrance ask for "Ian" and introduce yourself - I'm sure he will then introduce you to others.

If you fancy a sausage butty look out for our van, a silver AFT flying a Spanish flag with our avatar on it. We should be there from, erm, early Saturday
