Post by BongoBongo123 » Wed Jul 02, 2014 11:19 am

feel free to direct me to the relevant thread if it exists. May well be up for attending the next one... is it basically bongo owners in a camping place have a laugh and taking king Bongo/ having a few beers ?

Does venue change every year ?

The venue for the main (national) bash hasn't changed in recent years as there aren't many sites with adequate facilities who are able to accommodate 200 vans. There are regional camps spread out, in the south these have been at Hayling Island, Looe, King's Lynn, Reading etc.

Groups of owners in a field talking Bongos, drinking beer & incinerating perfectly good food is about right. Although at the national bash there's bands in the evening playing and other daytime activities to keep people occupied, plus normally a coach trip to a local attraction.
