Vote for This Year's Charity

Post by Ian » Tue May 07, 2013 9:56 am

At this year's Bongo Bash we are asking for a minimum of 10% takings to go to our nominated charity. This will be donated by all stallholders at the Vicar's Garden Party, which will be held on Saturday afternoon. There will also be a charity auction (date and time to be announced). But which charity should benefit?

You can see a discussion about the various nominations in this thread: http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... 3&start=15

Ballot closes on 29 May.

All the choices are very worthy, but cancer research gets my vote as its unfortunately very relevant at the moment.

Many thanks for voting for my chosen charity, as manyof you are aware it is very close to my heart (pun intended) as last year I was very lucky to receive a double lung transplant which has saved my life. Anything I can do to help these people and raise the profile of organ donation is so so important.
I look forward to meeting you all at the bash. Thanking you again.
