Forth Bridge meet

To celebrate 10 years since the formation of the Bongo Fury owners club, Sunday 24th February 2013 has been designated as National Bongo Day. What we have in mind is a series of events in various locations across the UK & Ireland where Bongonauts can get to meet each other and perhaps have a Sunday lunch.

Hopefully Alan, my new wheels will be ready for collecting in about 2 weeks time. But not if in late May and for a months after. My old pal from my college days in Wigan is comming over from the Middle East with his wife and Youngest daughter for a holiday with me. Not seen him for 20 years thanks to all the troubles out there.

Looks like a good meet up there, I will come North next time, even though I had a good day in Yorks.
Maybe we can arrange a borders camping meet?

Yesterday was a cracking day, a great bunch of people and one of the best childish giggles I've had in years as the red lights came on at the bridge and one of Scotland's major roads was brought to a standstill due to the Fury of the Bongos

Thanks to The Laird and Dunslair, you did us all proud. What you doing for an encore?

I'll get pics up when I get home.

I think we should try and keep this group together ,I propose after the feedback were getting another meet in the near future.possibly the border area?open to all suggestions (don't be shy)it's for all to propose.we could then invite our neighbours from over the border for, to join in with HAGGIS &NEEPS
It's up to you and all to keep the ball rolling.fire questions at me and I don't mind doing ground work to us organise things
We can shift heaven and earth as we are the bongoers!
Ps just to inform you guys two locals from the ferry are now in the market to buy and
Join in the bongo fever.
There was also another local there eyeballing and asking all about our vehs!hes headwind to fife to view and buy a bongo, more the merrier ,again many thanks for turning up in strength

I would come up for a meet, What about Jedburgh area, there is a big site just your side of Jedburgh. Do you think you could catch enough haggis out of season though? and I've got no idea what neeps are, are they the baby haggis? :?

My mate has a really nice tin top for sale if anyone wants a look. RX8's,dvd,table,bluetooth stereo etc.

The only problem in coming over the Border at Carter Bar is that the A68 on the Northumbrian side is truely awful. Don't think of an occassional pot hole think of an assult course. I went over twice last week in my Jeep Cherokee when I went down to Norfolk to look at a motorhome I was thinking of buying - I did buy it.
