Campsites local to The Yorkshire Dales Icecream Farm

To celebrate 10 years since the formation of the Bongo Fury owners club, Sunday 24th February 2013 has been designated as National Bongo Day. What we have in mind is a series of events in various locations across the UK & Ireland where Bongonauts can get to meet each other and perhaps have a Sunday lunch.

Info taken from the site: Our touring caravan section offers 13 pitches. All pitches are level with sufficient space for an awning and nearby parking. Electric hook ups are available and the nearby toilet and shower block offers modern facilities.

This appears to be a Caravan and Camping Club Location - 5 van licence. I pass this place often and I'm sure there are more than 5 parked up although this is generally during the day and so could just be stopping for Lunch. The food reviews are not brill from what I have read but will you be hungry after your nosh at the Icecream farm?

The facilities and toilet block are basic but very clean and always have hot water, you pay for what you get and at £6. 50 per adult per night what more can you ask for. Read more below on the review.

Nice one Chell, we aim to break away next Christmas. Last year at Wasdale National Trust Site was ace.

Great thumbs up there, Heck we could do worse than run into you, Ady, Karen, Alan and the Humphries!
