Yorkshire Dales

To celebrate 10 years since the formation of the Bongo Fury owners club, Sunday 24th February 2013 has been designated as National Bongo Day. What we have in mind is a series of events in various locations across the UK & Ireland where Bongonauts can get to meet each other and perhaps have a Sunday lunch.

Thanks again Chell for a great day. I know I didn't hang around talking much but couldn't keep the kids out of that playbarn, I'm knackered now I must of lifted them up those hay bales a million times.
What was the user name of the girl who wanted the bio diesel advice? the kids liked her scooby doo stickers, might get some.

It was like the Good Old Days - seeing so many familiar faces, combined with a good sprinkling of fresh new faces. Fantastic & a good reminder of how tight a bunch us Bongo peeps are!

Well done Chell from all of us & thanks again to Ady for having yet another bash at sorting out my perpetual cutting out problem. You'll be pleased to hear that I gave it a fair bit of welly on the way home & it didn't miss a beat!! :-) xx

A great afternoon, big thanks to all who helped organise this, with a good turnout of 24 Bongos in total plus one taxi :? A few photos from us – that really is snow in some of the shots....

Brilliant day yesterday. Really enjoyed meeting you all and seeing the other Bongos. Thanks to Chell for organising the day =D> We arrived just as it started snowing !! Sorry didn't get chatting much with you - the weather was too cold for me to stand still in one place too long....although my teeth were doing a lot of chattering #-o
The venue was a definite hit with the kids; they spent hours in the barn. Will be revisiting soon - those icecream sundaes are to die for.

Looking forward to the warmer weather and some camping.

(apologies for the taxi, least it was a Ford ..... And it's just had a new head, so it's got a lot in common with a Bongo  )
