New bongo owner

Post by RobEvans » Tue Jun 05, 2012 11:35 am

Having just joined the elite group of bongo owners in the last 4 weeks I would just like to say what an amazing vehicle she is. We have travelled about 1000 miles in the last month with no hiccups or any minor problems. Last weekend in Bridgend we met a Mercedes Vito and a t4, and our bongo had more spec for a 1995 than the 2 put together. And a thank you to all the owners who have been waving

Excellent news. Great drive aren't they. Have you taken precautions, like a low coolant alarm, and inspecting for and protecting against rust?

The LCA has saved many an engine and I wouldn't be without mine, esp as sods law dictates the leak will happen in between checks. If you are going to the Bash, Haydn has offered a free fitting service in the past, but you'd need to get it booked with him.

It looks as though (due to serious family illness) I may not make it to the Bash this year.....
I suggest you get a Low Coolant Alarm and either fit it yourself (dead easy) or take it to the Bash and ask around for advice....ther will be loads there that have fitted their own.
