That's Entertainment!

Post by Ian » Sat Feb 12, 2011 12:39 am

We have the Happy Cats on Saturday night.......and that means I have spent all but £300 of the ents budget for the event.

So any volunteers/ideas for entertainment on Thursday and Friday night?

What about a nice game of Housey Housey.....perhaps with cocoa and biscuits at halftime

Or even `play your cards right` with some pear and walnut cake at the end ?

But then, you get nothing for a pear,NOT IN THIS GAME.......

#-o Sorry Ian The Trav Cats can't get it together to many obstacles to overcome
BUT on the other hand my nipper is in a couple of other bands,
one of which is a great little covers band called The Johnson Van Dykes,
he is checking out the possibility this weekend with the other members 8)

Meanwhile if you get anything sorted CrAcK oN =D>

We are definitely a great band with some cracking tunes for any occassion. Both the drummer and guitarist have Bongo's and would really apreciate playing for you guys at the bash or for any other event.

Hi Carol

Details of the Stourport Bash are in the members area under rallies. Plenty of people do come without a Bongo, ex Bongo owners, future Bongo owners and fellow travellers. If there is some space I am sure Ian will let you book.

You are welcome to look at mine. Its a V6 though, but a fine example. I did it the other way round, bought a Bongo and then joined up. Less sensible but less scary as you've made the decision before you read about all the potential horrors.

I bought a fresh import, had it expensively undersealed and am now into the fourth year of trouble free Bongoing. The Bash will certainly show you all the varieties of Bongo around, plus some of the good dealers may be there. The contacts made will help you in the search and ownership.

Technically the meet is for Bongo Fury members only so, if you're not yet a member, your best bet is to email [email protected] and appeal to his good nature  If you are a member, just ring 0114-2550836 between 09.30 and 16.30 - Monday to Friday.
