few bits needed for Freda

Hi all, after a few bits for 1995 Freda:
1. engine undertray
2. drivers' door window switch
3. Far rear, n/s cubby hole pocket.

Drivers door switch is common to the Mazda 323f 1998 era.

I'm curious about that myself as mines getting tired. Rather than a v expensive new Bongo unit, has anyone tried using one of these inside the original Bongo casing?

Some of the door switches have the drivers/passenger window switches reversed on the other models, so auto open/close and position is different.

If the auto function being reversed id the only problem I could live woth that for the price.

Yup its possible to switch the wires over in the plug to correct the situation .

Thanks Geoff. I'm not much of a wife.....errrr.....wire swapper so just to be clear, are you saying the autoclose button will still control the drivers window in the unit as supplied. If not, is it relatively simple for a numpty with a soldering iron to wire swap?

The switches are in the same physical position, but they control the wrong window, so switch nearest the drivers window which has the auto function operates the passenger window, the switch closest to the driver operates the drivers window and has to be held open/close for full period of operation.

Thanks Geoff, clears that up. Would you say its a simple job to swap the wires over in the plug?

Yes its just poke a small pin up to release the 4 connectors involved and swap them round as pairs;
The O - Orange for G- Green and
R/L - Red/Blue for R/W - Red/White

I enquired with the vendor of the cheap ebay one about the autoclose thing plus if it would fit the Bongo casing. They confirmed it would so at that price I ordered one as I'll be curious to see how it goes. Probably won't fit it until warmer weather but will try and remember to update on how it goes when i do.
This Bongo is costing me a fortune

That's great to hear Mike , did you have to swap the wires around In the end ?
