Lengthening seat belt for car seat??

Post by amy2745 » Wed Jul 24, 2013 9:32 am

we can only put the car seat in the front as have a conversion and the seats are flipped in the back BUT the seatbelt is too short? Do you have to have a new belt fitted or can you get it lengthened?? Any help much appreciated.

Thanks

One thing to note: there are 3 types of buckles used in the rear of Bongo. Early dark grey belts are not always compatible with the sockets for the later light grey ones. The centre lapbelt also tends to be a different fitting again to prevent it being placed in the wrong socket.

Therefore, it may be an idea to take the Bongo to a supplier or send them the socket or a photo of the buckle to a supplier.
