Bongo bring and buy sale

Post by daveblueozzie » Mon Jun 08, 2009 8:48 pm

Is there going to be a bring and buy sale for unwanted bongo bits and camping gear.
There was one the year before if i remember right, you took your unwanted bongo bits/camping stuff near the main entrance with a sticker on it, with the price wanted and a mobile number.
YES ,NO, NOT ALLOWED, any thoughts, or should i just shut up.

Good idea! I'll set aside an area near the gate.

I'm sure there'll be enough of us keeping an eye, whoever is selling stuff can either hang around or do a short shift maybe?

Isn't it usually about 10am on the Sunday? If we arrange a time, then the sellers could hang around to keep an eye on the stuff.

I have a few bulky items which I don't mind bringing as long as someone is doing the buying :) . Bit wary of filling the van up with bits to sell & then have no room to sleep.

Great Timing!
We have a Royal Traveller 3 awning that we'd like to sell. It's quite a few years old and still very serviceable. It will be priced to sell.
We'll gladly bring it along if there's likely to be any interest.

Leave it all in the Bongo for a couple of weeks, then when she spots it you say, "Oh, that old thing, I've had it for ages".

Might work. :D
