We stayed at Knotlow farm in January. Excellent facilities, friendly owners, quiet location, and you can have camp fires. Only downside is that if you want to do some of the more challenging walks then there's a bit of a drive, but there's plenty of other walks locally. Highly recommended.

If you want to be in the heart of the Dark Peak then try the campsite in Hayfield, which is in the shadow of Kinder Scout. Not stayed there in years ( live 2 mins away) so don't know how good the facilities are, but perfect for access to many great walks. Dave

That's a C&CC site so should be OK. Cracking location.

Is that your Bongo parks up near the Lantern & Pike TD?
