Great stuff, I made myself dizzy spinning the picture fast

I'm not going to ask how you make it seemless vertically and horizontally, Its as if the camera was hovering in mid-air. Like the nice touch of having the name on the grass below you. :D

Think the pics are great. Did you take them using an ordinary digital camera?

Yup nothing that special, using a Nikon D300 currently, but have been working my way up over the years, the gear is linked to in the top right corner of the site.

As to you lot getting dizzy, think what it does to me trying to take them  Hardest bit is jumping in the air to keep he shadows out of view

Anyway glad you liked them, next year I'll try using a big pole or using a kite.

That kite or pole idea would be perfect for a shot of the whole site next year

I've seen some kite photos of Scolpaig Tower on North Uist, was that your work as well?

Could use the same pole for a webcam or 2, as on the other thread running at the mo :D

Yes it helps in lots of situations to get high, its just more gear to carry and takes a bit more to setup :!: It also takes a bit of nerve to stick several grand of gear on the top of a 20-30 foot pole and wave it around - best used in quiet situations, mind you I fancy doing this.

Not me in North Uist, probably James Gentle perhaps, James is seriously into KAP :!:
