Bongo Back in garage after sitting on M25 broken down for 4 hours ,
now the owner of the garage has taken charge .Its been in the garage longer than we have owned her .
So fingers crossed it will be fixed now the boss is on the case

I hope you had a good birthday despite the bongo problems :D , Hopefully Lakeside will get it sorted this time, must be getting a bit embarrassing for them :roll:

Well rang lakeside today to see if any news , jay the boss said he has worked on it for the last two days ,still no joy they got the injector redone again .He said he had had another bongo in with simila problem he sorted it straight away ,he said he will work on her again tommorrow but he does not know what is wrong???????
see willamina bongo is proving to be a night mare.

Very sorry your having such bother Manie. Has the garage checked simple stuff like the banjo filter etc. I guess they must have but....

I do hope it gets sorted so you can enjoy getting out in it [-o<

yeah they have checked everything they can think of .They have had the bongo the same amount of time as us,

lakeside rang today they still do not no why our bongo drives a couple of miles and cuts out.
Will we ever get to use our bongo?????? :(

Manie, are lakeside garage at Wraysbury?
I think they are linked to 321away who sells Bongos at Wokingham ( see there advert on home page and check the parts & servicing page).
If so one hopes that they do know what they are about, perhaps they are just a bit slow on sorting out some problems.

Our bongo has been in lakeside for over 4 weeks now.
Yes it is the garage in wraysbury,
They have been working hard on her just cant find the fault connected to fuel pump.
Had a nice birthday thanks .

No, unfortunately they didn't, it was a "dealer" from the Heathrow area, they had bought a warranty with it but it seems it's not worth the paper it's written on & they have got nowhere with him :roll:
Manda,I've had a silly thought, have they tried running it with the fuel cap off, could be the breather blocked, or if not that, i wonder if it could be the fuel pipe or pick up in the tank blocked? Get them to blow the line back through with a blast of compressed air maybe? Had a similar problem with a friends car a few years ago, worth a try [-o<

had enough now lakeside still cant find faultnow they are checking ecu .
wish we had never bought a bongo now feeling very fed up as janes birthday sunday and we need our bongo to be up and running as we are going on a family picnic to runnymede . :evil: :evil: :twisted: :( :(
